Chef Dakkie is an internationally trained culinary expert with an insatiable appetite for exploring diverse cuisines, making her a true gastronomic explorer. As the head chef of a bustling restaurant and owner of Eat Me Desserts in Lagos, her mastery of culinary arts and pastry delights discerning palates.

 

With an inherent passion for teaching, she imparts her wisdom and skills, nurturing the next generation of chefs. Beyond her extraordinary talent in the kitchen, Chef Dakkie's flair for creating new recipes sets her apart as an innovative culinary artist. My Story

I am a talented chef with a specialty in patisserie. Currently holding the position of the executive chef at the brand new restaurant Rooftop at The Pelican, In addition, I recently started my own business, Eat Me Desserts.

My journey to the world of food began while studying law and business at the University of Liverpool. Initially, I had no knowledge of cooking and I was just trying to learn. However, as time went by, I discovered my passion for cooking.

​

To pursue my passion further, I decided to attend culinary school in Cape Town, South Africa. It was there I began to discover my love for cooking and pastry arts. Since then, I have achieved great things in the culinary world.

​

One of my biggest accomplishments to date is being promoted to the head of Research and Development at Circa Lagos. It was here I discovered a newfound passion for developing and creating recipes that are not only delicious but visually stunning too.

​

I continually push the boundaries of food, experimenting with new ingredients, and creating unique recipes. With my talent, passion, and dedication, it's no surprise that I am quickly growing in the culinary industry.
